TENORITE
An anhydrous oxide of copper. Named in honor of M. Tenore (1780-1861), a botanist from Naples, Italy. One large quartz "flower" covered with Black Tenorite.A fine specimen of this rare copper oxide CuO.From Ground Hog mine, Central Dist. Grant County,New Mexico. Size is 1"w x 3/4"d x 1/8"thick.
