Spessartine (Spessartite) Garnet Group - Mn3Al2Si3O12 - Manganese aluminium silicate. A beautiful apricot orange color crystal from the garnet family of spessartine. This crystal from the classic gem producter of tourmaline. No matrix, appears to be a floater. From the Little Three Mine, Ramona, Calif.1.2 cm (1/2") wide by 1cm (3/8") deep by 1cm (3/8") high.
