Spessartine (Spessartite) Garnet Group -  Mn₃Al₂Si₃O₁₂  - Manganese aluminium silicate. An outstanding group at low low price!  A group of nice Spessartines on Albite feldspar matrix. This specimen is from Skardu Road, Gilget, Northern Areas, Pakistan. Specimen is 3cm (1-3/16") wide by 3cm (1-3/16") deep by 2cm (13/16") high. Largest crystal is 1.1cm, slightly larger then 3/8" across.
