PYRITE - FeS2/ QUARTZ - SiO2 A Bed of Pyrite covered with sparkling Quartz crystals. This is a favorite among the collectors of Pyrite, Quartz specimens. This one is 5cm (2") wide by 7cm (2-3/4") deep by 5cm (2") high. From Huallanca Dist., Dos De Mayo Prov. Huanuco Dept.,Huanzala Mine, Peru. Large pyrites. Has minor quartz missing in few spots.
