FLUORITE - CaF2 - Calcium Fluorite.This Fluorite collected a number of years ago is a older specimen. It is a light gray color. The Fluorite crystals here are mostly tabular, only half as thick as they are wide. Largest crystal is 1-1/4" on edge. From Boulder Hill mine, Wellington District, Lyon County., Nevada.. Told this is from a silver mine 4 miles or so south of the town of Wellington. Specimen size is 9cm (3-1/2") wide by 5cm (2") deep by 4.5cm (1-3/4") high. It is covered in 2nd generation micro, clear fluorite crystals. Weight 0.3 lbs.
