Beautiful carving or sculpture of a pink south American Cichlid (Discus Fish) possible Symphysodon Discus "Pompador" swimming above the "coral " of mammillary Traventine calcite. Carved out of banded pink Colbaltain Calcite, looks a little bit like a Angle fish , this is a outstanding and very fine piece. Unnoticeable slight nick at end of tail. The brass pin permit the Dicus Fish to be rotated in any direction on the base and permits the Fish to be removed from the base. Another uncommon item from Peru, sure to please. Item FI001
