DIOPTASE - Cu6[Si6O18] . 6H2O Great rich specimen for the micro mineral collector! Cute little gems of Dioptase about 1mm sitting scattered on thick matrix of Mottramite Pb(Cu,Zn)[OH/VO4]. Specimen is 2-1/2" wide by 1-1/2" deep by 1-1/2" high. From Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia, S.W.Africa. Believe this to have been collected in the 1970's.
