ALLANITE - Not sure which group this falls into the (Ce) or (Y). The crystals are small micros of a orange color with white rombs of calcite. Areas covered are indicated with the blue arrows on the photos. From J.G. Gale Quarry, Madawaska, Bancroft District, Hastings Co.,Ontario,Canada.Specimen is 2" w x 1-1/2" d x 1" h.
