This glass is fused at about 1500 degrees fahrenheit onto black glass blanks making many very thin layers of different colored art glass on the blank. No sharp solid colors, but blended to see thru to the next color with softness and light.When done the edges are ground to a smooth finish and fire polished in the klin. A opening is provded for the thin chain or silver necklace such as one shown. This organic form avoids the use of the typical silver bail in order to keep its free form shape.
